Ziro Arunachal Pradesh



Ziro is a famous town for being the world heritage and tourist site for a number of years in a row. In the year 2012, this town was shortlisted in the UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites. Ziro is about three and a half hours far from the capital of the state capita Itanagar. It is a famous tourist site for not only its heritage value but it is also known for its absolutely stunning beauty that mesmerizes you completely.

Ziro is situated sat a high altitude of 1500 meters above the level of the sea. This town is rich in agriculture in terms of rice fields. The beautiful rice fields are surrounded by enthralling mountains which are home to a great number of pine trees, a speciality of the mountain region. This town is generally cool in the summers and very cool in the winters as a result of being surrounded by the mountains and being on a high altitude. It is an absolutely lovely place to visit all through the year especially during the summers when other places are sizzling in the heat Ziro still maintains its cool weather.

There are various nice local tourist attractions like the Ziro Puto, Hapoli, and the Dilopolyang Maniipolyang. Most of these are hillocks sutured in and around the town which is an absolute delight to visit for anyone. Their beauty is soul captivating. Ziro is greatly influenced by the Assamese culture. The food and the local dialect can be traced to Assam. Ziro is definitely a place that must be visited for its ethnic beauty.
